Harvard's fundraisers and communicators invited me to give a persuasion presentation, as well as meet with individual teams and executive leadership in a day and a half of workshops. The theme: "Tough Questions." The tool: The Pivot.
I loved the talent and energy everybody brought to their work, and came away feeling even more deeply about the critical importance of higher education.
Now look at this story I wrote years ago, slamming Harvard for killing the teaching of rhetoric--one of the original liberal arts. (I wrote for Harvard Magazine.) Nice of them to invite me anyway!
